My name is Sahayaraj, and I come from Mugaiyur village, Villupuram District. I was born and raised in a middle-class family within the Dalit community. From a young age, I witnessed and experienced the harsh realities of caste-based discrimination and social inequality that continue to affect rural communities across our society. These experiences shaped my understanding of injustice—not as a concept, but as a lived reality.
Despite the challenges, I strongly believed that change is possible through collective effort, education, and empowerment. With this belief, I founded this Non-Governmental Organization in 1995, driven by a clear vision: to uplift rural village communities from poverty, discrimination, and social exclusion.
Our organization works to create equal opportunities for the marginalized by focusing on women empowerment, children’s education, social awareness, and community development. We believe that empowering women strengthens families, educating children builds a better future, and raising awareness helps break long-standing social barriers.
Over the years, our journey has been guided by the values of dignity, equality, and justice. Every individual—regardless of caste, gender, or economic background—deserves respect and the chance to live a life of purpose and self-reliance.
